Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about joining the Fireside RV Rental Franchise? You’re in the right place. Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about our business model, territory availability, startup costs, training, support, and what it's really like to be part of the Fireside family. Whether you're just exploring or ready to take the next step, this page will help you make an informed decision and feel confident in your journey.

What does my franchise territory look like?

Your territory is based on a combination of population and distance. Typically, we draw a 10-mile radius around your central business location. That becomes your exclusive territory. In high-density areas, the radius may be smaller to account for larger populations, with a standard goal of reaching around 50,000 people per territory.

Do I need to own property to launch my Fireside location?

Not at all. Most franchisees partner with a local storage facility to group and operate their RVs. It’s common to find a location within 5–30 minutes from your home to serve as your operating base.

What are the earnings projections for a Fireside franchise?

Instead of vague or inflated numbers, we use real data from our network to help you build your own projections. We recently added earnings-related information to our Franchise Disclosure Document (Item 19). You can request our FDD here.

Can I build a fleet over time?

Absolutely. Many owners scale from a few RVs to 10–15 units, which can generate substantial income while remaining manageable with a small team.

What other revenue streams are available?

In addition to rental income, Fireside franchisees can unlock multiple revenue streams that make the business more profitable and resilient. You can offer RV repairs and maintenance, taking advantage of our established vendor accounts for parts access and the opportunity for a 100% markup. If you're storing RVs on your property, you can charge monthly storage fees, generating consistent passive income. There's also the opportunity to assist with RV consignment sales, earning a 10–15% commission by helping owners sell their RVs after they’ve been rented out. Additionally, offering delivery and logistics services — such as transporting RVs for owners or to special events — can further increase your earnings. When combined with popular rental add-ons like linens, grills, kitchen kits, chairs, and s’mores packages, these extras help you maximize your income while delivering a better experience for both RV owners and renters.4o
